Sri Mahabodhi Tree During the reign of king Devanampiyatissa Sanghamitta thero brought a branch of the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. The Bodhi tree was planted on a high terrace about 21 feet. It was surrounded by railings and today is the one of the most sacred place of Buddhist in Sri lanka.

Seruwawila Mangala Raja Maha Viharaya is an ancient Buddhist temple in Trincomalee district in Eastern Province, which is among the sixteen or seventeen holiest Buddhist shrines (Solosmasthana) in Sri Lanka.
It was built during the reign of King Kavantissa (2nd century BC) containing the Lalata Dathun Wahanse (sacred forehead bone) of Lord Buddha.
Visit: to the Somawathie chayathya Somawhaty Stupa is situated in the Polonaruwa Distric boadering the somawathiya national Park. Somawhathi cithuya was build in 2 nd century BC and this stupa is said to enshrine the “ Right Tooth Relic of Loard Buddha
After the visit to Somawahtiya Raja chaittiya proceed to Kandy visit, Dambulla Rock Temple which named as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO
